Two easy ways to uplevel a casual look

No matter where I’m going or what I’m doing, it’s always been important to me to look like I put in the effort. That’s especially true on weekends.
For a lot of people, weekends are a time to relax after a long, hard work week. But when it comes to weekend wear, casual and laid back doesn’t always have to mean wearing a t-shirt and tennis shoes.
It probably doesn’t get much more casual than wearing a pair of jean cutoffs. But, if you want to add a little more style to your ensemble; instead of a t-shirt and tennis shoes, opt for a button down dress shirt and a pair of neutral tone wedges.
Whenever anyone asks me what the secret to great personal style is, I always say the difference is in the details.
A quick roll of the sleeves — perfect for this style shirt — and a half-tuck in front gives this super casual look an extra touch of flavor.
I want to hear from you. Have you ever tried one or both of these techniques to up-level your look? Let me know in the comments.
